Project Narrative
The Digitization of Schools in Marseille
The digitization of schools in Marseille is a large-scale project in which Speechi has had the privilege to participate from 2022 to November 2024. The success of this initiative is the result of long, constant, and close cooperation between the Aix-Marseille Academy, the City of Marseille, and Speechi. Here, we outline the key moments of this project, from its inception to its outcomes.
Our Clients: The Aix-Marseille Academy and the City of Marseille
TNE 13
In 2020, the Ministry of National Education launched an investment program called the Educational Digital Territories (TNE), aimed at digitizing schools in 12 test departments, including Bouches-du-Rhône (TNE 13). This program aims to reduce the digital divide and accelerate the digital transformation of schools.
The GPNEM
The Aix-Marseille Academy, in charge of the TNE 13 project, formed a partnership with the City of Marseille, which committed to supporting this program by launching a Grand Digital Plan for the Schools of Marseille (GPNEM) with the ambition of equipping all the City’s schools with digital tools.
France 2030
The Aix-Marseille Academy was also able to count on financial support from the investment plan launched by the state, called France 2030, which aims to invest massively in innovative technologies.
An Ambitious Project… in Partnership with Speechi
An Interactive Display in Every Elementary Classroom and Preschool
Our clients have set an ambitious project to equip every elementary classroom in the city with digital equipment of the interactive whiteboard type, as well as to provide each preschool with a shared version of this tool.
Choosing an interactive digital screen rather than an interactive projector (IPP) was not an obvious decision. However, the Academy’s strong preference for interactive screens and the demonstrations conducted by our sales team convinced the City.
To realize their project of equipping schools with interactive screens, our clients turned to the UGAP purchasing group, which offers the French brand Speechi. Thus began our collaboration.
The UGAP
The UGAP is a public purchasing group that schools turn to for acquiring various equipment, particularly under the supervision of the Minister of National Education.
Speechi, Partner of the UGAP
Offered on the UGAP platform, where we have been a trusted partner for 8 years, our solutions were selected to respond to calls for projects such as Innovative Digital Schools (ENIR) and Educational Digital Territories (TNE).
