After an appearance in Chris Briant’s series Les Invisibles, Speechi interactive screens take center stage in the final season of HPI. An ideal tool for catching criminals with Audrey Fleurot’s teams.
In the HPI series, we follow the adventures of 38-year-old Morgan. As the mother of three children from two different fathers, she has to manage her family life alone under difficult conditions. One day, the Lille police spot this housekeeper with extraordinary intellectual abilities (IQ 160) and hire her as a consultant. However, neither the police nor her partner Adam Kadarec, played by Medhi Nebbou, are able to deal with Morgan’s difficulties with authority.
The TF1 series, which is expected to reach 10 million viewers by 2023, was filmed in the Hauts de France region, highlighting companies made in Nord. Speechi came to the film crew’s rescue, lending them an 86” interactive touchscreen from the Superglass +S range, so they wouldn’t miss a single detail of future investigations.
Interactive screens directly on the small screen
Gone are the days of red thread investigations like Columbo or Sherlock Holmes. Interactive screens are in vogue in our favorite series. Productions in France and across the Atlantic are using this type of screen. Take, for example, another series broadcast on TF1: S.W.A.T., in which investigations begin with meetings in a special room filled with large-format touch screens. French productions, however, have nothing to envy from the big American productions, and seek to equip their film sets with giant interactive screens, calling on suppliers such as Speechi who are happy to lend their interactive screens for the duration of a season.
This isn’t the first time Speechi has helped the small screen. As mentioned at the very beginning of this article, the first production team to call us was Les Invisibles, to accessorize the office of their team of investigators. The design, but above all the 4K resolution of our screens – equivalent to seven times Full HD – were decisive criteria in choosing the interactive screen that would be most photogenic to the image. Americans will enjoy their own version of the HPI on September 1st on ABC. Take a look at our range of essential products for catching the biggest criminals in our TV series and films.
