75” and 86” interactive display screens are the perfect way to transform a medium- to large-sized space into a multimedia-rich environment.
From playing impactful adverts in shop windows to helping customers on their buyer journey, there are many uses for embracing this type of technology – but with so many options to choose from on the market, making the right choice can be difficult.
If you have already narrowed your choice down to a couple of screen sizes and 4K Ultra High Definition screen resolution, you’re half-way there! Read on to find out what other factors you should consider when picking the right digital screen for your use-case.
Which features to think about for your 75-inch and 86-inch 4K UHD interactive display screens
Do you need a webcam?
In some cases, it is useful to have a camera built into your interactive wall display. If video-calling and facial recognition are going to be elements of how your interactive display screen will be used, then it would be in your interest to look more towards our SpeechiTouch range, with built-in cameras.
In many cases, however, your interactive display screen may simply be for broadcasting adverts, helping customers browse products and services, or acting as a self-service kiosk. In this case, you may be able to save money by opting for an interactive display without a camera.
Are sound and audio quality important for your use-case?
If you intend to include audio elements in your interactive display, like videos and background music, then acoustic quality is important.
It would be wise to consider opting for an interactive screen model that offers immersive sound. However, in many cases, wall displays are silent, and just offer visual multimedia content. If this is how you intend for your interactive display screen to be used, then you can pick models that don’t prioritise sound quality.
Would you prefer your interactive display screen to run on Windows, or Android?
At Speechi, most of our interactive display screens run on Android interfaces – but we have recently expanded our range to offer touchscreens with Windows OPS modules. Android interfaces are user-friendly, intuitive, and quick to start up, which makes them perfect for most use cases.
However, if you intend to design a more complex interactive display with multiple pages, many interlinking sections, and lots of videos or animated multimedia content, then a Windows interactive display will be the better option. While our digital display screens with Windows generally come at a higher cost, you can ensure a seamless experience for anyone using your device.
Want to minimise the risk of spreading germs?
Selected 75” and 86” interactive display screens from Speechi have an antimicrobial finish. This multi-layered nano-silver coating kills 99.9999% of germs over a 24-hour period, thus reducing the risk of cross-contamination as different members of the public interact with the screen.
This may be of interest if you are looking to set up your interactive display screen in spaces designed to welcome patients – e.g., waiting rooms at GP surgeries, dental surgeries, and pharmacies. However, if this is not a high priority, you can save money by skipping this option – and, of course, our regular touchscreen displays can be disinfected regularly.
Not sure where to start?
Don’t worry – there is plenty you can do before taking the leap and making a purchase. If you want a kit that includes everything you need to get started setting up your interactive display screen, we offer dynamic display kits with our 75” and 86” SpeechiDisplay screens.
In this bundle, the 4K UHD screen comes with a 1-year licence for Touchify software – a state-of-the-art software suite with tools that are specially designed for building stunning, sleek digital displays.
