Employment: Interactive screens at the French Craft Council for training in the craft industry

Entering the world of work is a crucial stage in one’s life, and can be achieved thanks to various organizations specializing in training, such as the French Craft Council (Chambres des Métiers et de l’Artisanat-CMA), which are equipping themselves to offer the best possible training. Progress can be seen at the CMA in the Oise’s department.

The CMA is an organization that helps craftspeople manage and organize their businesses throughout France. It has helped to develop 119,264 businesses in the Hauts-de-France region alone. In the midst of developing its training division, CMA Hauts-de-France needed to acquire new teaching equipment. Its Beauvais branch, which offers 20 training courses in a variety of sectors (bakery, pastry-making, catering, hairdressing, perfumery, cosmetics, aesthetics, etc.), took the initiative of acquiring Speechi interactive digital screens so that all teachers could deliver theoretical courses even closer to reality.

Open doors to a future profession

La Gazette wrote about the open day at the Beauvais CMA in the Oise region, the aim of which was not only to highlight the various training courses offered by the organization, but also to showcase the different trades in the craft sector. Visitors were able to take a behind-the-scenes look at craft trades through discussions with professionals.

In addition to its training rooms and four technical platforms, the journalist adds that the facility is also equipped with “SPEECHI e-connected boards“. Used in schools, but also in companies to animate meetings or liven up lessons, the Speechi board takes the form of a giant touch-sensitive tablet, connected to the Internet, on which teachers and students can display content and interact with it by annotating it with their finger or stylus.

A means of communication for the administration

As well as being used for students, Speechi interactive screens are also used in meeting rooms at the Beauvais CMA, benefiting the administrative teams who organize videoconference meetings.

To carry out their videoconferences on a Speechi interactive screen, all they had to do was fit it with a camera and microphone. For face-to-face or remote meetings, they can even connect their computer to the screen thanks to Bytello Share software, which enables them to retrieve images from their computer on the interactive screen, as well as manipulate their PC from the latter.
