Firstly, it is important to measure the dimensions of the room in which you intend to set up your smart whiteboard. If you are setting up your smart whiteboard screen for remote working, what does your home office look like?
For example, is it a cosy nook, a spare bedroom, or a larger study? If your space is smaller and you will be in close range of the screen, then a 55” or 65” model would be the best choice.
Otherwise, do you intend to replace your TV screen with your smart whiteboard, or home-school your children in a larger space? If this sounds more like your use-case, you will need one of our larger screen models.
Your smart whiteboard’s screen size and resolution
These will be the primary factors that influence the cost of your office’s smart whiteboard. Speechi interactive whiteboards are available in 5 different sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 86-inch and 98-inch dimensions.
As a general rule of thumb, the larger the smart whiteboard is, the higher its price will be – but since some models have Gen 1 and Gen 2 versions, the cost may vary. Smart whiteboards for home will generally be used by a limited number of people at a time (often just one person), you will likely be able to narrow down your choice to smaller models, like our 55” and 65” options.
Android or Windows operating system
While most smart whiteboards from Speechi are powered by an Android UI, we have recently added Windows interactive screens to our range.
However, it is important to note that picking Windows over Android comes at a higher cost. Android interfaces are built with speed and lightness in mind, which is perfect for small- to medium-scale video calls. However, if you will be connecting to a dozen or more team members across the globe, the reliability and robustness of a Windows UI will be worth the price.
